The history of Ogris
1961 Foundation of the transport company by Johann Ogris as one-man business in St. Margareten im Rosental.

1965 Acquisition of a plot of industrial land in Klagenfurt – Durchlassstraße.

1966 Inauguration of the building in Durchlassstraße.

1977 Acquisition of a larger plot of industrial land in Mageregger Straße 69 – due to lack of space and problems with residents.

1978 Start of the construction of the new company grounds.

1981 Moving of the entire company to Mageregger Straße.

1985 Hannes Ogris joins the company.

1986-2000 In order to deal with the increased demand, numerous rebuilding activities take place. The storehouse capacity is extended to 700 pallet spaces.

1993 Foundation of the Johann Ogris - Int. Transport- u. Speditions GmbH – the managers are Johann Ogris and Hannes Ogris. Official registration of the forwarding business.

1997 The founder of the company, Johann Ogris, is involved in a fatal accident during wood cutting work in the forest.

1997 Hannes Ogris takes over the company as the sole manager and shareholder.

2004 Today, Spedition Ogris is a modern company, which has expanded from a specialist for Italy to a logistics professional for all transports throughout Europe. Apart from this core business, also additional services are offered, like storage, commissioning and packaging as well as fork lift work.
